How billing works

What is a credit?

Credits pay for usage at its real cost: AI credits for answers and speech credits for listening. A typical answer uses a small fraction of an AI credit, and one speech credit covers about a minute of listening. The answer and listening figures on each plan are estimates - longer answers and screenshots use more.

What is Auto mode?

In Auto mode ChampAI listens continuously and answers each question on its own, hands-free. It is part of Pro and Ultra Pro. On Free you use Manual mode: press the mic or the spacebar when you want an answer.

Is GST included?

No. Prices are in Indian rupees and GST (18%) is added at checkout. Businesses can enter their GSTIN at checkout for a GST invoice.

How does the monthly pool work?

Each plan gives you a pool of AI credits and speech credits. The pool refills at the start of every billing cycle and does not roll over.

What happens when I run out?

Answers and transcription pause until your credits refill next cycle or you upgrade. Nothing else about your account changes.

Can I use more than one Free account?

One Free account can be used per computer. To use another account on the same computer, upgrade it to Pro or Ultra Pro.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime, from the billing portal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then drop back to Free.

Do I still need my own API keys?

No. Answers and transcription run through our server on your credits. There is nothing to set up.
