Refund policy
The app is free to download and use, so in almost every case there is nothing for us to refund. This page exists to say that plainly and to explain where the charges you do see come from.
01We do not charge for the app
ChampAI costs nothing. There is no licence fee, subscription or seat charge, so no payment is taken by us and none can be refunded.
02Charges from DeepSeek and Deepgram
The app uses your own accounts with those two providers, and they bill you directly for transcription minutes and answer tokens. We never see those payments and cannot reverse them.
If a charge looks wrong, raise it with the provider that issued it. Both let you set spending limits, which is the surest way to avoid a surprise.
03If paid features are introduced
Should a paid plan ever be offered, it will be refundable in full within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, by writing to us. Refunds will be returned by the method used to pay.
Any such plan would be an addition. The version documented on this site stays free.
04Something went wrong
If the app cost you money it should not have - a bug that burned through API credit, for example - tell us what happened. We cannot refund another company's charges, but we want to know and we will help you make the case to them.
