It is not in the meeting. It is on your desk.
The assistant sits beside the call rather than inside it. Nothing joins, nothing is transmitted, and nothing shows up in what you share.
What that means in practice
Undetectable is a stack of small guarantees, not one setting.
Hide mode keeps the window out of the shared stream while it stays on your own display.
No bot joins the call
Nothing is added to the meeting as a participant. There is no extra name in the list, no join sound, no notification that a recorder arrived - because none did.
Nothing reaches your microphone
It reads the audio your computer is already playing. Your microphone is untouched, so no sound the app makes and nothing it does can be heard by anyone else on the call.
Excluded from screen capture
With Hide mode on, the window is left out of what screen sharing and recording tools see, while staying fully visible on your own display. It is not moved aside - it is omitted.
Yours to position
Drag it anywhere, float it above the call, and dial the background transparency down until you can read what is behind it.
What it does not claim
A tool that overstates this gets people into trouble, so here is the boundary.
- Someone looking at your physical screen can see it. It is hidden from capture, not from eyes in the room.
- A managed device with monitoring software installed can see whatever that software is allowed to see.
- Meetings where an assistant is not permitted are a question of policy, not of technology - check before you use it.
